    Voodoo control

Since I flashed Evil Fascination I have this app preloaded and was wondering how I can uninstall it. The problem I have is that while I can see the benefits of audio playback quality I have issues with it. While listening to music it sounds good but when I get a call or any type of notification it literally blows by eardrums as notification sounds are way too loud. If I lower the volume enough to where notification sounds are manageable then the music volume suffers. I tried to uninstall it but it wont let me so I'm thinking of deleting the file in Astro (if I can). Any thoughts?

You would need to use an application called "Root Explorer". It will allow you to access the filesystem of your device and remove whatever you want to. You will have to find your way to the directory of the app you wan't to get rid of. Once you find it, simply long press it and click delete. If it says you don't have Root Access, click the button in the top right. Hope this helps.

Thanks belb. I was hoping not to use root explorer. Mainly I wanted to ask if anyone else has removed this app and no ill effects to the overall ROM/kernel.
Reading up on the app on xda it seems that this app is optimized to the 300 ohm sennheisers, which could be the cause as my klipsch image s4 is 18 ohms. I may just go back to commrom.

Update. Apparently I wasn't the only one with this issue. There was an update today and you can actually set the volume level with a +5db gain. All is well now.

Careful with it. Just having it on your phone will drainnnnnn your battery.
