Thanks Ollie. I finally got a chance to download the firmware but when I tried to get my phone into download mode it said "battery to low to download" in red on a black screen. I put my phone on the charger 90 minutes ago and it is still completely dead. It won't even come on with the battery out and the phone plugged into the charger. I guess I have no choice but to send it in now....

Unfortunately I do not. I work offshore and I won't be home until next week. I have one that I ordered but it is at my house.

It's been quite a few years since I was down there. We are in Lake Charles now and then headed to beaumont to load.
I have been digging around and it seems I'm not the only person with this problem.
I just don't get it. Before last night it worked even with the battery out and plugged into the charger. Now nothing.
Very strange behavior if you ask me. I also read that the usb jig trick doesn't work on the newer FW that I have. I hope this is not the case
because the last time I saw the binary count it was 8.

When I get home I'm going to try a new battery and see if that helps but at this point I don't think it will.

hey man i had similiar issues and spent hour searching for fix try putting phone in odin mode make sure on the computer u in odin u dont have things checked that shudnt. and google stock-eg30 tar file and it just might fix ur problem
