    GMail

I dont know if this is a phone problem or gmail problem. Whenever I send an email using my gmail account, it sends duplicates. If I send an email to my pc account and open it there I will have 2 exact emails. Is it the phone or gmail?

Try going to Settings > Apps, finding Gmail, and choosing Clear data. Then sign back in and see if you still have the problem.

    Tapped via Galaxy Nexus LTE..

    It could be both, lol!

Silly question incoming: Are you using the GMail app or the email app on your phone? I would assume you are using the GMail app. You can try clearing the data from the app and resync'ing just to see if that does the trick.

Go to Settings > Apps and find the GMail app.

    Click on it.

    Clear the cache

##You can stop here and see if this solves you problem. I had about 35MB of cache, between four email accounts, and I have not had this issue before.##

If that does not work, you can click "Clear data". **This will remove all of the app's data, settings, files and databases. You can get the emails back when your phone sync's again, but you will lose any special custom settings.**

Try that and let me know if that works.

That worked. Do I have to clear my cache every time before I send an email?

You should not have to. I find in Android (across all the phones I have had, with custom ROMs anyway) that from time to time I have to clear the cache. I don't know why, but it always works for me.
