Well just because it works great on your s3 doesn't really do us with the s2 a lot of good now does it? We need assistance, not the info of how smooth ice works on your s3.

Excuse me? Actually my statement about the smoothness on the S3 shows you that something is wrong with your build. Guess what? It works great on the Note as well. And Jelly Bean works great too.
I give plenty of options to fix it. Do it or stick with your broken build. It doesn't effect me either way.

Ollie, your help has always been very useful.... THANK YOU!
I'll agree about ICS, it works very well on my TF-101 tablet and my son's S3... Just, I think, Samsung had a few bugs..... for this build. It's not the phone!
Us with the S2 will have to wait for ICS or another. Or, (as I did) change the rom to something that works a little better, for now.
Again, thanks Ollie for all of your help.
Lateck,
Thanks Lateck! Yeah it is definitely not hardware related. It's just a flawed rollout of ICS for the S2. It will get jellybean though so it should improve drastically. I am running it on my S3 right now.

I just updated my Samsung Galaxy II to the Android 4.0.4. Since then nothing works correctly. First my bluetooth devices lost their pairing and now cannot be re-paired to my phone. My network strength has gone done to 1 bar where I used to have 4. I see there are a slew of other issues others are having. How can this be fixed? I have not noticed any helpful advice from Google. This is an android OS update issue and needs to be fixed. How do we fix this?
Hello wichtest, welcome to the forum!
I'm sorry that you're having problems with your phone, but if you hang on, one of our Rescue Squad guys will give you a hand.
Hello to all, just joined,
So the issue is the same as the others with this upgrade to ICS. I called Sprint and they recommended that I talk with Samsung before coming to them to do the reversal back to the GB. I spent at least three hours talking to a Samsung rep telling me to do this, do that, take this out, put this to that... Some of the options are not even available on my phone. This was on the chat by the way since it is the only phone I have. So after doing all the person told me to do in chat, they recommended that I call for assistance since nothing was working. I call the company and they tell me, to send in my phone... So being this is my only means of communication, out of the question. Anyone else have any ideas on how to get this mess of an update fixed before I have to go to the sprint store?? Thanks
I would definitely try the factory data reset as Ventus suggested. Make a backup using Samsung Kies on your PC first.
