Phone stuck at "Firmware upgrade encountered" but UNIQUE problem!

So I rooted my phone and installed CWM because I wanted to use custom ROMS (specifically CM9). Unfortunately, my phone didn't have the ICS upgrade installed when I bought it, instead having 2.3.6. I went to go and download a new OS so I can have it, so I downloaded Odin, Kies, and found the new OS file, called I9100XWLPD_NEELP4_Nordic_Android_4.0.3.zip. I went to Odin and starting putting it onto my phone and the install said it failed, but it was still downloading. Since it said it failed, I assumed I could take the battery out, and restart Odin and my phone and just try it over again.

HERES MY PROBLEM: After taking the battery out, I restarted my phone and it gave me the "Firmware upgrade encountered" screen. My computer won't recognize my phone, won't go into recovery mode, but it will still go into the download/Odin mode. Does anybody know of any way of fixing this? I'm willing to do anything.

Did you extract the .zip before placing it into Odin?

Yes I did. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Odin, Kies, and the drivers several times. But my computer won't recognize my phone at all.

Have you checked Device Manager to check whether the drivers were detected?

Where would they show up under in the Device Manager? Because I remember when I was rooting it, I had ones that said something with Samsung in it, but now theres nothing. But would those show up even if the device isn't attached?

Well, I think if you connect the device to the phone, if you hear some sound it's connected.
May I please know your phone model before your flashed this?

It doesn't make a noise or anything when I connect. I'm pretty sure it charges, though, because when I took the battery out but left the cord in the device automatically rebooted without the battery. And it's model SPH-D710.

OMG why did you flash a different model's firmware?
That's a bad move man....I think service center is your only hope....

Yeah, I didn't do enough research and figured if anything went wrong I could use my backup, but since I can't get to recovery I can't.
But I don't have insurance on my phone, do you know if they will still help me?
