    USB debugging turns itself off automatically when plugged in after 5 min. or so

    I want to disable this screen because i use a tether internet for my computer when i'm at work but every time this screen pops up it disables my usb debugging in which turns off my pdanet. Please help!!

    I'm using a Samsung Fascinate SCH-1500

    Only thing I can think of it going into settings and selecting usb settings. play with those till you get something that works. To be honest, we have been wrestling with the issue of people NOT getting that screen, we never thought about how to disable it...

    It doesn't matter which USB setting you try. Same thing started happening on my Samsung Fascinate right after I got a new Macbook Pro with Lion preinstalled. No problems with USB debugging kicking out when tethering to the earlier Snow Leopard machine. Have no idea what's causing it, apart from it only happening with the new laptop and not the old. Haven't found a fix yet in any discussions.

    I am having the exact same problem with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7". I have three Android devices and this is the only one it happens on. It never happened when I was using PC--it only started after I switched to a Mac.

    Fair enough. I found this thread through google and so will others with this same type of problem. I suspect it is either Mac Lion related or Samsung generally based on the other things I've read.

    It could very well be a global Samsung issue. I just wanted you to be aware that we don't specifically provide Galaxy Tab support here.
