Stuck on "Downloading... Do Not Turn Off Target" - Impossible to do anything

My phone is stuck on "Downloading... Do Not Turn Off Target". I wasn't hacking it, but my 10 month old was screwing with the phone.

I've read for a couple hours and I know that if I take the battery out or hold the volume and power that it should reboot etc... but it doesn't. The yellow Downloading screen always comes back up. I have the Android SDK installed and ADB can't find my phone, neither can Odin, and yes I have installed the Samsung USB Drivers.

Is my phone toast?

Yes. Nothing I've read has allowed me to get to the boot screen. It just stays on the downloading screen.

Try this:

- Put battery back in
- Hold both volume up & volume down buttons, and press & hold power button
- Release all when you see the SAMSUNG logo
- Highlight "reboot system now" with the volume keys
- Select using the power button

Didn't work. I never see the boot screen. No matter what, it always goes to the download screen. I sent the phone in for an insurance replacement. Thanks. I'm positive it was dead.
