Upgraded to CM7, 3G Issues

I just recently made the upgrade to a nightly build of CyanogenMod (CyanogenMod-7-08302011-NIGHTLY-Fascinate), and I can't seem to keep a steady data signal. I can call and text fine, but every time I attempt to run anything that connects using my 3G data connecting, it instantly drops signal for a random period of time.

I'm not sure what information I'd need to give, but if you need some numbers, feel free to ask.

Thanks ronnie. I would suggest downloading the file again and flashing again. If that doesnt work you may want to start over. I know, I know...but we kinda need 3g on these things.

Before THAT (stock) though...reflash an older nightly that you had success with.

Just a side note, I had 3g and auto rotation problems on the last nightly and a full data wipe and a reflash fixed me up.

Might wanna try a reboot or a battery pull. I checked to make sure My 3g was working, and shockingly it wasn't. A simple reboot brought it back.

I've had the same issue with my 3G for awhile now. Before I made the upgrade, I was running 2.2 ComROM and my 3G would drop when I first opened an app that required a connection, but after about 5-10 minutes, it would return. After it came back it would work anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, then drop again.

Now it just does it every time I need to use my 3G connection. I've tried wiping my data/cache before the install (and I've made it a habit to do it before/after every install) and dialing *228 afterwards, the data connection just stays "sketchy".

Hmm... Maybe contacting Verizon will help. Or should I revert to the most recent stock and go for a replacement?

If its been a consistent problem for some time now I would go stock and get a warranty replacement.
Just my opinion though.

And after installing CM7, I can use the stock Odin files to revert?

You will need to follow the guide in post 2 to return back to stock. You will need the Atlas pit file and the dl09 tar.

The change back to stock brought back a steady 3G signal. I'll follow that guide to reinstall CM7 and I'll let you know how it goes.
