The SDK will be available for ICS immediately, so developers can run with the ball. The event lasted a full hour and really showcased the amazing qualities of the hardware and software. One of the things that was most impressive was that the camera on the Galaxy Nexus was only a 5MP but looked better than many 8MP cameras. The software was the reason for this, and really is where this device and Android will shine brightly! Share your thoughts guys!

So I've watched a number of videos this morning and have yet to see a "Menu" button of any kind. How does one open up the Settings within an app without any sort of menu button? All the wonderful customization that is Android starts with that menu button.

My understanding is that for any app that requires use of the buttons we have now, the virtual buttons will appear at the bottom of the screen.

I've seen them pop up, but from what I can tell it's always just Back, Home, and Recent Apps.

This is gonna be tough, now that AT&T is getting this, I might have to swap my beloved SGS2 for this! I mean the fact that its a nexus and it has 4.0 and it will definitely get the next two iterations of android def outweighs the smaller camera hmmmmmm

I had that same question last night. The 3 at the bottom that pop up are back, home, and recent respectively. I couldn't find any "menu" button anywhere. My guess is that a lot of apps are going to have to have an ICS version and an older version with the ICS version having to have a settings or menu clickable button built onto the screen somewhere. You'll probably have to get to the settings for the phone from an app in the app drawer. That's just one more con of ICS in my opinion. Still think the pros outweigh the cons so far lol

That would be a deal breaker for me.

Do this today. At any given time when using your phone, press the Menu button and see what pops up. I can't imagine life without all of these features. Don't really care to wait for every app to be redesigned for ICS if that's what has to happen. The menu button and all of the customization in every app has always been the first thing I explain to someone who is in an Android/iPhone debate.

Verizon also has yet to announce the phone. Remember, the internal storage is either 16 or 32 GB, depending on carrier. They could go with the lower amount.

Maybe a menu function would be tied to a long press of another virtual button?
