Quite possible, but again, rest assured Samsung will NEVER allow a phone built for Google to outshine the Galaxy series, for example gs2 8mp rear camera and 2mp front, Galaxy Nexus (Samsung built) 5mp rear camera and 1mp front processor its dual core, but gs2 rocks that exynos, nexus...snapdragon...see the theme here? I'm anxious to see both, but pretty positive I'm going to stick with what is dominating the market even near end of life...Galaxy S3, come to daddy!

Take a look at Sam mobile.com and look at the new S3. It is identical to the Nexus in shape. Unfortunately you can't see the back because of the square dummy case.

I was done, seriously, the GS2 us heating end of life also, but Samsung is standing by the series that shoot them over the top!
