It grabs to zip just fine, boots to the proper recovery but can't mount the sdcard or find the sdcard so it doesn't flash the zip file. It does however wipe cache and data just fine.....just need it to be able to see the sdcard

I wonder if it because of a partition difference or something?

I tried it several times and noticed it was looking in "emc/themes/theme.zip" instead of "sdcard/themes/theme.zip"

I assume external memory card is emc. If that's the case it just needs to know there is no internel memory and the sdcard should act as internal memory, or simply be mounted as sdcard instead of external.

Yeah the newer partitions are emmc. Braway didn't have an external card to test with, but I could have sworn someone else in the thread was able to use an external. Imma go read.

I would love to use this, it just doesn't read external memory yet. Once it does I see this as a very valuable tool. Considering recovery is very finicky on fassy mtd roms and even more so while on ICS. It took me to the proper recovery with out causing a boot loop. Wiped data/cache/dalvike and rebooted the phone without a hitch. That right there let's me know its a well coded app already.

I just flashed a file from my external and it worked. Do you have a CM7 or CM9? I think they were supposed to start converting over to emmc. Not sure about the MTD structuring, but that has to be it.

I'm on ICS, its AOSP based if I remember correctly. I suppose its the mtd structure. I would buy that guy a case of beer if he could get it working for the fassy. That would solve a lot of problems when my wife flashed her phone and I'm not around.

I am at a loss about anything concerning the Fassy or I would PM him about it. I still have yet to see one in the wild lol.
If you can give me all of the info he is sure to ask then I will pass it by him. That guy's a beast. Almost all of the critical pieces of the note having root are of his doing.

My structure is set up /sdcard too so I wonder what's up with that.

Ronnie, is your wife gonna fill in on the R/S while you're at basic training? ... just kind of wondering.
