help help help! hate the IS

Yes! I am definitely hating the new upgrade. My internet is extremely slow, my batterly life runs out very quickly, but mostly I hate the internet slowness and the fact that when on a call you can no longer go from that call to another screen and go BACK to the call and see the number, and speaker, end call, and mute buttons...it's ridiculous!

Hi Ollie, I am having slow issues as well, but also losing batterly life fairly quickly but mostly I DESPISE that I can no longer see the contacts, and end call screen when I am on a call and go out of the call to another screen and try to go back to the call. Would you happen to know how to correct that issue? Or if I do a factory reset, will it take me back to the Gingerbread 2.3.6? My carrier is Sprint, and my phone was purchased new from them. I'm not sure what "rooted" is, but if I do a firmware and go back to GB would I still be able to get warranty benefits if anything is wrong with it? ...Sorry for the flood of questions. Just frustrated and need help. Thank you so much!

A factory reset will keep you on ICS. It is quite possible that it will fix your problems though.

You would have to flash back to GingerBread using Odin. There is supposedly a way by using Samsung Kies and doing an emergency recovery. I believe that would bring you back to the original firmware.

Yes, it may void your warranty if it trips your custom binary counter while manually flashing GingerBread in Odin.

If you attempt any of the factory resets make a backup in Samsung Kies on your PC first.
