On GingerBread I liked Golauncher. On ICS I use Apex.
Living dangerously, to me, is eating spaghetti with a white shirt on.
+1 for GoLauncher. I've tried quite a few of them over the years, (ADW, LauncherPro, 3D Launcher, MXHome Launcher, etc) and always return to Go. It's free and it's got so much customization built into it that you can truely personalize it any way you'd like. Plus Golauncher is constantly updating and adding new features.
ADW & LauncherPro are also two of the more popular launchers that have amazing customization.

Try ADW EX (the paid version which has more features) from the Google Play store. Very easy to configure and it has a zillion themes available.
I have used ADW EX, GO Launcher EX, Apex and Nova. Right now, on my GNex, I am using Nova.
Sometimes I get a hankering for Go Launcher due to some of the features that Nova does not provide. I am still playing with launchers, because they all offer something new.
Wow. That's a lot of launchers. :P I only know about Go Launcher, ADW, Nova and Apex, because they are the ones I always see while reading other threads in the forum. Truly it is trial and error when looking for the right launcher; but since I like themes and other personalization stuffs, I'll check out the ones you've mentioned in your replies. Thanks guys! Really big help for a first time Android OS user like me.![]()
I'm a n00b trying to learn about something
Please bear with me
Thanks, Mujibar.I was a former Samsung Wave user so having a phone running Android OS is totally new for me. It's like starting again from scratch. That's why I really appreciate all the help you guys have given me. I'll continue reading so that I could learn the basics.
BTW, I have tried the Go Launcher now. It's great! The themes and personalization options are really a lot. I'll try the other launchers when I already know how to use my phone and maximize it properly.![]()
