Will the region AFR receive the ICS update?

I searched the forum but I didn't find a thread that talks about the availability of the ICS update in countries. I would just like to ask the experts if my phone (i9100; PDA: XWKF3; PHONE: XXKF1; CSC: JVKF1) would receive the update. I am in Kenya now and when I connect my phone via Kies it says "...JVKF1 (AFR)" which i suppose stands for Africa. My former phone (Samsung Wave) had the same "region" (AFR) as well but while I was waiting for the official Bada 2.0 update, I found out that it will not receive the update. I was wondering if it will be the same case with my GS2..

Your replies will be appreciated. Thanks!

It should receive the update. Otherwise you could always install an Open Europe firmware ICS using Odin 1.85.

I've been monitoring these websites about the release of ICS in countries but I can't seem to find AFR (that's when I started wondering).

I also considered installing ICS using Odin, but I thought the phone might not work when I go to the Philippines. :\

THANK YOU for your reply Ollie, now I would just have to wait for the update.

If your phone isn't locked to a Telecom then you can use it on any GSM provider in the world simply by inserting their sim card or by paying the roaming fees.
