How do I change the email notification sound?

I know I set the sound for email notification at some point and even changed it! But I have gone through all settings regarding accounts and email and sound and notifiers...can't find it! Can someone please direct me where to go???

Which email app are you using? If Gmail, it will be in the app settings.

OK, I have the AT&T version of the SGS2 and G-Mail is simply a "Notification" sound. Go to the main Settings area, open it, choose "Sound" then Notifications. You should be presented with a number of different sounds to choose from, and by clicking on any sound, it'll play. When you find one you like, click OK then back out and you're good to go. Whenever you get an email, through G-Mail, that sound will play.

Launch Gmail.
Press your Menu button.
Select More.
Select Settings.
Under Account Settings select your gmail account.
Scroll all the way down and select Labels to Notify.
Select Inbox.
Select Ringtone.
Choose your ringtone.
Select OK.
