    Pressing the Home Button

When you have it off as in like standby, you press the homebutton it comes up with your lock screen.
I was wondering is it normal that just sometimes when you press the button you can see for a good 1 second the home screen then it goes back to your lock screen? is that completely normal?
hope you guys understand what Im on about lol

I understand what you're saying, but I don't know the answer to your question.

It is probably normal. Because it happens to my phone too. It just a kind of lag.

Ps. Did you recently get a replacement? Or buy it as a pre owned?

    different problem

I have a problem with the home button as well. Mine its a bit different though. Whenever I push the home button, whether while i'm in an app or internet, it will go to some unfamiliar blue screen that shows the time, has accu weather has 4 short cuts on the bottom.I went through settings to try to get rid of it. Its quite annoying to not go home when I press the dang button I have to keep tapping the back button. Has anyone else faced similar problem or know how to fix it other then factory reset?

Hi giraffy, and welcome to Galaxy Forums! We are delighted to have you as a member, but I'm no tech expert, so I'm afraid I don't have a solution to your problem. The good news is that we have an exceptional group of guys known as the Rescue Squad, and they have the knowledge to give you a coherent answer. So hang on awhile, and one of them will swing by and give you a hand.

I have searched, but didn't find a solution to this problem. I will keep looking though. On a side note. Its best to fully back out of apps rather than just hitting the home button.

I think Giraffy is seeing the clock feature of their phone. It has a desktop mode that displays the time, weather, and shortcuts to a bunch of stuff. It looks like there are only 4 shortcuts, but you can slide to the right for more. It shouldn't be running all the time though.

I'm having the exact same issue as Giraffy. When I press the Home button, out hours to the clock screen. If I press the Back button, out hours to my Home screen. I have gone into Task Manager and exited out of the Clock application but add soon as I press the Home button again, it just opens the Clock again. Any way to fix this?
