Broken Glass and Digitizer - Locked Screen - Retieve Files?

Hello,
Please help...

Anybody knows how would it be possible to access my files (pics, videos, etc.) I can't unlock the phone because the glass/screen and digitizer are broken, the phone doesn't have a SD card so all files are actually in the phone. It connects to my pc just fine but Kies shows "Connection Locked".

I have insurance with AT&T but i would like to get those files before I call for a replacement... assuming I have to send them the broken one.

I am of the opinion that if you cannot unlock your phone to enable the "Connect as USB Storage" option you might be out of luck. The only thing I can think of would be to see if you can install the software, Samsung Kies. I have not used the software personally, I only install the driver for the phone so that it can interface with my computer. However, there might be some help for you there. You can get it by going to: Samsung and under the mobile section, click on Cell Phones. From there you will need to enter your carrier, and select your cell phone model.

Hope that can get you somewhere.

Droid explorer requires root. And all that would be good for is pulling the apks out of the phone. Those apks pulled out of the phone would also be clean apks that don't have any of the users data.

Thanks for the info... I think the only thing to do is to send the phone for repair, I found one online for $229.99... vs the $200 I have to pay to the Insurance and that way I'll have my phone and files.

So much for "Gorilla Glass", I don't even know how it got broken... it was on my desktop. I wonder if those plastic screen protectors actually do more bad to the glass?
