I also had a similar problem to the person,
I was rooting my phone with Odin, after rooting the phone did not reboot and now it does not swtich on!

when I manage to start it, it shows phone icon--yellow triangle with exclamation, and switches off again

Hey Ollie,
Im having the exact same problem with my phone. I tried upgrading it to ics and the attempt failed. since I was doing it through the odin, I now cant recovery my phone with kies. Im in download mode but now the odin wont read my phone.. anything I can do?
