    Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 won't boot into Firmware

Hey guys. I've been trying to figure out this problem for over a month now from other forums and sources. I still have had no luck what so ever. So I decided to join this fourm and see if anyone can help.

I am able to get into download mode and recovery with no problem.

Every time I use Odin to flash a new firmware, kernal ect... It works flawlessly no errors or anything. But the phone will just boot to recovery and not the os. I've cleared cache and data/factory,CMW recovery and still get nothing. Also tried to restore to factory gingerbread. No luck. Please help
    Thanks!

I'm in the US using AT&T but the phone is an Unlocked/International version. And thank you Mujibar for the username change.

Ok do you want ICS or GingerBread? Is this the GT-i9100 or another variant? There is the i9100T, G etc.

This is the ICS firmware for Open Europe that will work for you on AT&T on your GT-i9100:

    http://hotfile.com/dl/162208594/226b...5_OXA.zip.html

Download it and unzip it once using 7zip or WinRar. You will end up with a single file that has the .tar extension. If you end up with more than one file you unzipped it too many times.

Download Odin 1.85 and unzip it also.
    http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...3&d=1304094576

    Then follow these instructions:

-Exit out of anything Kies related on your PC. Check your task manager!
-Turn your phone off and do not have it plugged into your PC.
-Right click Odin and select Run as Administrator.
-Put your phone into download mode. Press and hold volume down+power button until it reboots. If it asks you press volume up to confirm.
-Your PC may start installing drivers. If it does allow it to completely finish.
-Once in download mode plug the factory USB cable into your phone and then into your PC. Do not use a USB hub.
-Odin should recognize your phone. The top left box in Odin should turn yellow and ID Com will display some random numbers.
-Make sure only Auto Reboot and F Reset are checked on the left inside of Odin.
    -Select the PDA button.
-Navigate to the tar file you unzipped earlier and select it.
    -Press Start.
-Do not interrupt the process, bump the USB cable, etc. or your phone will be a paper weight.
-It will reboot when it is done.
    -Profit.

The phone will reboot on its own and take a minute or two to completely boot up.
