If it fails try flashing it again. Also, try rebooting your PC and using another USB port.

Tried both rebooting the pc and changed the USB port. Still the same result. Thanks

Ok. Redownload this: Hotfile.com: One click file hosting: I727UCLF6_I727ATTLF6_ATT.zip and unzip it once. Flash it in the PDA slot of Odin. If your phone is booting you should first perform a factory data reset on it before and directly after the phone boots for the first time on ICS. Let it idle for a minute then do the second wipe.

Did the above steps, It is still stuck on (<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..) as shown below for the last 15 minutes. BTW this is the same behavior as previous tries. is this normal, i would expect more debugging outputs. thanks

Do you have Kies installed on your computer?

While plugging your phone in after putting it into download mode, did it install any drivers?

Are you running Odin as administrator?

I installed the latest version of Kies, it did download some drivers. I gave up on Kies as it was timing out while trying to do the update. I tried Kies for about 10 times with the same timeout issue. Yes I am running Odin as an administrator, anyway my user account has admin rights. Thanks for any help.

Have you checked to make sure nothing Kies related is running in your task manager?

    You are welcome!

Hi, new here! Tried to do the flash upgrade of ICS this morning and received errors same as the poster immediately above but got "Firmware Upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again". When plugging in the phone an attempting to connect to Kies it simply times out. Only had this phone a month, am on Orange. I have a Samsung Galaxy 2 GT-I8160.
