Video won't play on Windows Media

Just did my first video on my phone and transferred it to my computer but Windows media player won't play it ???

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or a required codec might not be installed on your computer."

Uploaded it to youtube but that won't play it neither ???

    "Unable to convert video file"

You can long press a video and select properties from a file browser on your phone.

Have you checked the camera settings from within the camera app?
