Not Dialing

My S2 is not dialing out or receiving calls or texts. When making a call, It shows dialing on the screen, then after a couple of minutes, just goes to call ended. Have had the phone about 8 months now. Any suggestions?

A few questions to consider:

- What network are you registered to?
- Try typing *#06# on your Dialer (don't need to tell me what the numbers are if numbers do appear)
- What does Settings > About phone > Baseband show?
- What Android version are you in?

Had a reason to turn my volume off today. When I did that, the thought came to me that I never even tried shutting it down and restarting. Did that and the phone works fine now. Thanks for trying to help.
