Can't change ringtone

My ringtone on my phone is set on the song "Staying Alive" I did not set this ringtone, it is not even an option in my settings. I've changed it over and over on the settings menu, online and with a ringtone app. Nothing works! Has anyone else ever had this issue??

I too am having this issue, how did you fix it? I would think for a phone this high tech I wouldn't have issues like this.

If you go into your sounds settings you can change the ringtone there. By going into your contacts, you can go into each person, or contact, click the menu button, then edit. From here you can change the ringtone each contact individually. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Try a battery pull for a few minutes. If that doesn't work, you may need to do a factory reset.

opened music files on phone set one of my current songs as new ringer, seems to work now. I had to talk to samsung online chat support for help on this issue.

I used to have an iphone. I will let this slide but I really hope i made the right choice in switching to samsung.

Glad you got it working. Im sure you'll be happy with your decision There will be a pretty big learning curve coming from the iPhone, as there are quite a few differences between the two. You'll come to find though that you've got much more freedom to do what you want and many more ways to customize this device. Once you figure out all the different settings, you'll be much more comfortable.
