    Yet Another S2 SkyRocket Email Issue (resends old emails)

    So I recieved my S2 Skyrocket (ICS) a few weeks ago and have a pretty annoying email issue.
    The issue is that it keeps recieving old emails! Lets say I have 100 emails showing and I delete 5 of them, the phone will look back in time and resend 5 more emails to make-up for the ones I deleted. So then I have to scroll all the way down to the end of the list and mark them as read.

    Any advice??

    This never happened with my S2 (Gingerbread)

    Try clearing data on the app and signing in again.

    Did that 4 times to no avail.

    Try clearing both the cache and data again, then delete your gmail acct. Re-add it and sign in again and that should fix the problem.

    It's not a gmail account. It's my business email thru Yahoo Business. It worked flawlessly on my GS2 and worked properly on GS2 Skyrocket (Gingerbread) but when I updated it to ICS (suggested by ATT Store) it started sending me the old emails. Even sent the phone back and got a factory updated phone and it still does it.

    Are you using the default email app on the phone?

    Personally, for all non-GMail accounts that I have, I use a third part client, such as K9. It seems to work a lot better than the default app. Great app, and I don't have any trouble with it.
