    Unhappy Bluetooth and media audio

Just got a Galaxy S 2. Have been able to pair my Bluetooth receiver to it and it works fine for phone calls and notifications. The problem I am having is enabling the Bluetooth connection for other audio output, like music, radio, etc. Where is the setting to enable this? Never had a problem with my BB doing this.
BTY, I have hearing aids that use a Bluetooth transmitter that is paired with the phone.
    Thanks,

It has to pair specifically for media. Some Bluetooth devices can pair for Media and Phone. The phone audio in Bluetooth is SCO which is lower quality. To get higher quality audio, like music, you need a Bluetooth headset (usually two ears) that supports A2DP. There are some apps that allow listening to audio that is supposed to be A2DP using a SCO device. One that comes to mind is BTmono.

I agree. My Bluetooth headset for my cycle helmet is not A2DP so I did a lot of searching for an app that would send the audio out to my bluetooth since I'm not ready to buy another $250 unit (I'll make sure my next phone will work with my headset). Of the only 3 that I have found, BTmono is the only one that works with Android version 4.0.4 on my Galaxy SII from Sprint. The other problem I have is that, with this latest OS update, I can no longer make outbound calls from my headset. I love the screen, the light weight, the slim profile but I need to go with function over style.
