I have a new galaxy 2 that randomly turns off. The only way to get it to turn on is to press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, release it and press again for approx 5 seconds. it will then turn on and boot up. It does this regardless of the remaining battery life and usually only does it once or twice a day but it is a nuisance. Anyone else seen this and how did you remedy the problem?

I have the same problem with mine. Mine does it too. Got the update this morning. Hopefully that will solve the problem. If update doesn't work. Might take it to the Sprint store.

Nope. Didn't work. Phone is at Sprint Store now near my workplace. Hopefully they can find out the cause of the problem.
