Vibration Very weak

Hi,
I'm not sure if I'm the only person with this problem but I recenlty moved to Galaxy 2, and the vibration is so incredibly weak, I have it on max for everything, and the only reason why I know I've recieved a msg or missed call is because I've downloaded the app NoLed. Besides that, the other night it was next to me on a shelf, it rang and I recieved 2 msgs and I had no idea till I looked over at my phone and saw all the notifications.

I don't know why it's so weak, but my old phone which was an old android phone, had very loud/scary vibrations.
