Help :( problem with software upgrade

Hi I was updating the software on Kies to jelly bean and the upgrade failed. On my phone the error message is "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies and try again."

I've tried to access the emergency recovery in Kies but it's giving me an error message that it can't access the model information and to try later.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

In order or our Rescue Squad to help you, you'll need to tell us what the model umber of your phone is (Galaxy S is a type of phone, not the model number) as well as who your phone provider is - like AT&T or T-Mobile in the US.

I am getting the same problem as teal. I am using Galaxy SII I9100 (India). I have tried many times but every times update gets failed after 65% to 70% completion.

Please Help!!
