Bluetooth syncing problem

My SII has always worked brilliantly with my Parrot CK3100 LCD in car device, up until ICS that is!
Though my phone can and does pair with the device it no longer sync's the phone book or call register, this means that with the exception of receiving calls I am back to breaking the law and using the handset to dial etc!
Gingerbread had no such problems and I am thinking that until this error is put right by Google and or Samsung it might be easier and safer to revert the phone to the older OS.
Does anyone have any information and or help regarding this issue?

Oh I did update the CK3100 device to make sure that wasn't the issue, it now runs version 5 but no improvement.
