S2 battery issue, goes off while working

My S2 is 18 months old GT-I9100, Jelly Bean 4.1.2.
Whenever I work on browser/Facebook etc. for more than 5 min , the phone goes off automatically. It does not start as the battery comes down to 1 to 3% even though it may be more than 80% charge. I need to plug the charger to make it start , after that it will start charging and at times may come to 50% etc. own his own & at times may be charging from the % shown at the time of boot normally.

I would like to know is it a battery problem or some other.
