Transfer contacts from BlackBerry to Galaxy S2 without google sync

    Hello,

I am new with my Galaxy S2. Used to play with an old Blackberry device and recently switched to Galaxy S2. I have 500+ contacts stored on my Blackberry Touch and I want to know how to move the contacts to the new device without typing them one by one. Most of online solutions recommend to use Google sync, but the service is unavailable in my country, is there any other alternatives out there?

    Thanks
    Gelbert

On most BlackBerry smartphones, the phone to phone transfer app should install itself automatically, after you approve the download. Once it's installed, you can find the Google phone to phone transfer icon on your home screen (or in your app list). Click it, and you'll first need to enter your Gmail address or your full email address at a Google Apps account into the Login field -- which brings you to a decision point, if you're not already experienced with Contacts, if you still was confused with my answer, you can can read this article to copy contacts from blackberry to Samsung s2 or s4

    Welcome to the forum guys!
Podo, you could also transfer them to either your sim card or micro sd card.
Also, when purchasing a new phone, your carrier will transfer the contacts to your new device for you. If it wouldn't be too inconvenient, you might stop by and have them do that for you if none of these other options work. Good luck & let us know how you make out.

Far as I know, Android phones don't, but I'm not an Outlook user at home, so not sure.

Another way is to sync your BB with Outlook, and then export it to CSV format, which can then be imported in your google account contacts page and synced to your phone, but it seems a bit more roundabout than VZW's program. But perhaps it would save more data that way.

If you don't like this, you can try another way to transfer contacts from Blackberry to Galaxy S2.
    1. Download Phone Transfer on your computer.
    2. Back up Blackberry and connect your Galaxy S2.
    3. Choose the contacts to transfer.

    And that's it.
