Ollie, please HELP! I had the upgrade issue as others. I tried to follow your steps but Odin1.85 doesn't recognize my phone (Samsung GT-i9100 SPH-D710, Sprint, USA). I installed drivers from Samsung website and restarted my computer, still the same. Please HELP me!Thank you very much!
The screen of my phone stops at
ODIN mode
Product name: GT-i9100
Custom Binary download: No
Current Binary: Samsung Official
(andrio robot logo)
Downloading...
DO no turn off target!!
TO Almawri, I had the same screen at the beginning, just hold volume down, home, power buttons longer, then you will see a warning page, click volume up to get to the download mode.

hey guys! i too had a prob with that, mine was S2 T989 T-mobile!! and you know i was using odin 1.08 (older version) and i tried it for 4 times.. nothing happened.. but then again, i found a solution, you dnt need to redownload the file.. use the latest odin v3.04 for galaxy s3 and reflash your firmware, i swear it worked!!!
