This is a common bug in ICS for the S2. Are you branded to a carrier? If not you can flash an Open CSC firmware that has fixed the bug.
So you tried using the WiFi widget?

I hope it'll stay like that
Hey guys, one more question... I saw SGSII has USB memory (16gb), what does that mean? How can I use that?
Also, this forum is great, it really helped me alot. I've been reading it for two days, unfortunately I can't help much because I'm new in Android world, but maybe some day![]()
You have 16GBs of space on your phone. 2 GBs are allocated strictly for app installs (you can also use apps2sd), then the operating system takes about 1.5GBs, and the rest is for music, movies, photos, documents, etc.
You can use it anyway that you want...through file browsing via USB, wireless transfer from PC to phone using Kies air or Airdroid, etc.
