Please help, since i have had my phone i have been unable to download pics sent to me via text not sure why

When you long press on the pic, do you get a popup box to "save"?

hello, no i dont when i recieve a text with pick attached all it says in it is the size of the down load and the word download when you press to except it says it is downloading but that stays forever and pic, i must admit it has been like this since i bought the phone and never did anything about it but now its time to sort it

What type of phone do you have and in settings of the SMS app is there an "auto download" option (may need to check this)...

hello sorry this is all new to me, i have a Samsung Galaxy S2 but were would i find the SMS app, i have looked in the text settings and cant find it in there

There should be a section under the settings for the default messaging app (Messaging) called: Multimedia (MMS) Messages.

There should be an option for Auto-retrieve. Make sure it is checked, and you should be good to go. This is in the regular app on the phone.

Try this then, in your app drawer do you have an app called Messaging? On my Galaxy Nexus, it has a green colored icon, but you'll know it when you see it. Open it up, and you should see in the lower right hand corner, three vertical dots (.) and if you push on that you get a pop up that offers settings as one of the options - push on that. Scroll down about 2/3 of the page and you should see Notifications​. Put a check mark there if there isn't already one present. Then back out and you're done.
