    Custom DPI settings...

I just discovered custom DPI settings and adjusting them...let me just say, that playing with them has changed my phone viewing experience in ways I almost cannot put in to words. I will try and post screenshots of before and after.

Be aware that some apps are not compatible with a lower DPI setting. Like the Google Market for one.

I was rocking a custom rom on the Note that allowed per-app DPI. It allowed dual pane apps like Email, the Settings app etc.

It really makes a huge difference doesn't it? This should be a stock feature.

I agree. Though I can understand why it is not. But I love it. It is sharp looking. Here is where I am at now:

Can someone explain to me why this picture is so small, compared to others I have posted, which seem to take up the whole screen?

I have the same problem. Some are big, some are small.

It really chaps my backside. The other picture I posted was HUGE...but the quality was great. This one you can't barely make out the sharpness of the theme.

If I remember correctly, on certain phones, changing the DPI can have a performance boost in 2D gaming.

The GNex if I am not mistaken comes with a standard DPI of 320. Maybe 240...but when running AOKP I use 240 DPI because it looks fantastic!
