Is there a way to dim the backlight on The Fascinate?

I was wondering if any of you knew how I can dim the lights on the softkeys. They're extremely bright at night, and I think they're just waisting battery. Also is there an option to have them turn off quicker? Thanks for any help.

I don't think there's a way to dim them. That would involve a hack of some kind. (There may be one that I don't know of.)

As far as making them turn off quicker, that's tied to your screen timeout under Settings > Display settings > Screen timeout.
