Remove the unlock slide

I've just uploaded to 2.2 and the app that I had to keep my slide lock off does not work and i can't find a new app that let's me keep the unlock slide off! I think I had NoLock before and to turn the screen on all I had to do is push either the on/off button or the volume button. Help

Use at your own risk and backup your phone first, then you can try the below which worked for me.

To disable it without using an app or rooting your phone, you can enable the Hidden menu by doing the following:

1. Go into the Phone dialer and enter *#83786633
2. Press the Home key
3. Go back into the phone dialer and remove the previous numbers
4. Enter *#22745927
5. A menu box will prompt for the SPC code. Enter: 000000
6. Press the Hidden Menu Enable radio button.

Now you can use the below codes to do the following:


Disable Full Bat Popup:
*#3844228#

• This allows you to disable the full battery pop-up.

Enable quick Shutdown and disable swipe screen:
*#7594#

• Disables your slide lock screen completely.
• This enables you to shut your phone off by long-pressing the power/lock key.
• By-passing the pop-up confirmation and mode selection.

Again, do so at your own risk... Done this twice successfully on 2 separate Fascinate phones.

You're welcome. I haven't attempted to undo it, but you could try re-entering the codes to see if it toggles - again at your own risk.
