I thought the part of VZW changing the phones out was interesting to read. I wonder if they will still do that since they have a "FIX" for the problem.

One of the tier 2 reps I talked to told me that they will not.

Yup. We were just waiting for it to be officially announced. Wouldn't make sense to link people to an unofficial stock build, just in case any more OTAs lie in wait down the road.

You should be able to put this on any Fascinate, stock or rooted. We'll put together a guide for installing it with Odin, because the Samsung utility apparently doesn't work well.

Cool just talked to tech support about 45min ago and tried to install it with them but it would go to the vooodoo menu after it downloaded. Did not disclose a rooted phone to verizon. Just said I would try back later.
