    Market Malware

Seems like there is a bunch of it out lately... What is the current malware detection app of choice?

I think Lookout is popular but haven't tried others.

I tried BitDefender, but it sent Watchdog through the roof on boot until I whitelisted it. But then it caused other apps to slow down ridiculously ... so I dumped it.

I've been using Lookout for sometime now. It seems ok. I really do not notice a drain on my phone from it either. I just finished up the full blown evaluation (finally decided to try it). Nothing happened good or bad. I'm back on the free version now as the trial has ended for the full version.

But, this is also an interesting article regarding malware and such.
