    Voltage control app

Ok I've used this app many times without problems except now the settings don't stick. I'm running VGB with Glitch kernel. I've cleared cache, uninstalled, reinstalled to no avail. After getting the desired setting I apply change then set as boot. What am I doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong. The settings didn't stick for me, either. I'm convinced that's something that won't be fixed until we get kernel source from Samsung.

Ok thanks Muji. Without VC it sucks down the battery too much. I may go back to froyo now.

That's exactly what I did tonight (but for different reasons).

The one thing that helped me was saving my settings as a profile and then loading it every time I had to reboot.

If you're trying to the the governor it isn't going to stick with glitch no matter what you do. It is written in the code to be on on demand with the screen on and on conservative with the screen off to help save battery.if your trying to stick voltages then I have no idea what is up lol someone on XDA in the glitch thread made a patch you push to change it to what you want. Couple pages in

I have to go back to froyo tonight too! But mine is because my charger port broke last night and doesn't charge unless you sit it a certain way. Hoping I can get it to stick long enough to odin a tar and it not mess up so I can get a new one. If not it's back to the crapberry until S2 comes out

.....tapped out with my CM7 fassy

D1 thanks for the info. I am going back to froyo later tonight. As for the charging port I had similar issues but turned out to be the charger. I actually took the phone apart to board level and it's actually pretty sturdy construction. Hope it works out for you.

N/P Paul, It has got to be sturdy for them to put it where it is on the phone and it hold up any amount of time lol They know people are going to be talking while charging and doing other things I tested it using my car charger, my blackberry charger, and another charger someone had at work and they all were wonky in the port and just fall right out. Just got Odin to get me back to stock so I can return her now

Voltage control is used to overclock(increase preformance) and undervolt(increase battery life) or any combination of the two.

How much battery it saves depends on how much you use your phone.

    How safe is it?
I'm not a dumb ass, but I know that it's easy to instantly kill any electronic device messing with certain settings.
