Text Messaging Error

Hey everyone,

New to this site but have been a user on Droidforums.net for a long time now.

I just have a question regarding the Fascinate. The one thing that is driving me crazy with this phone is that I often get an error message when receiving multiple text messages from the same user ( ex. 1/2, 2/2) When ever someone sends me an mms or a text that has gone over the limit of one message I get an error stating "preceding msg modified, Media Objects were removed."

I communicate mostly by texts and email because I am not always able to make calls during the day due to work. So, at times I get very long text messages and I the sender gets a message that I may not have received the message and I don't ever know if I received the full message.

I remember something like this on older phones, when talking to people who were not with verizon and whatnot, but I have never had this problem on any smartphone I've used, especially not with the Droids I have used in the past.

I like this phone for the most part and I do not want to return it but this is kinda driving me nuts. It's really the only thing that is giving me second thoughts (I am still within my 30 days). If I use another texting app would it solve this problem or is this just related to the phone?
