Question newbie in da house.... need a tutor lol

Alright I'm stuck with this fascinate for another year and right now I hate the phone, missing texts, calls you name it. All was well until I took the GB update and nothing works right now.I figured since I can't stand the phone why not play with it and see if I can make the year go by quicker. I stumbled onto this site and I must say I'm in information overload at this point in time.

I think I've decided I want to try out the AOKP rom, I downloaded odin and a ton of other stuff just need the beginner lingo to get started if that makes sense. I've never done this before and want the experience to be as painless as possible

Many thanks in advance to anyone brave enough to accept this mission.

it's all good got back on this morning and found a guide to put Hacksungs 6.5 on and have it up and running, now that I've done that my question is what steps do I need to follow to put the newest AOKP on to try it out and figure which I like better. It's like I have a new phone so glad I found this site and thanks again for any help in advance

To flash AOKP you will need to boot into recovery from the power button menu.

Once in recovery you will want to wipe data/cache/dalvik cache and flash AOKP M4. Then reboot the phone.

After the phone fully boots up. Return to recovery from the power button menu.

I'm recovery navigate to the GAPPS file and flash that.

There are also themes, like Unity, which make the experience a bit more fun.
