In the notification slide down I turned off the new mobile data icon& went wireless---than turned down the brightness of display--Went to Settings--About phone----battery use---showed display taking up 52% of power /changed my wallpaper to a unlive backround and running no active apps. Seemed like it helped somewhat but shouldnt have to do all that to save power, half way thinking about kicking Froyo out
Looks like you've done everything else I would have suggested.
    Frustrating for sure!

I have tried android booster from the market and it has increased my battery life pretty much the way it was on 2.1 and its free just click on optimize after install and it closes unnecessary apps and processes. I am going to try green power battery saver and see what one works better. Let you guys know

I installed Juice Defender app and run it on one level above normal. I also turn WiFi off when I will not be using it for awhile and my battery life seems to have returned back to normal. All seems to be well now.

My daughter and I are having the same problem. Not very happy with the update. Also it always "force closes" my browser.

I tried Android Booster,Juice Defender&Green Battery they helped a little,What was actually drawing my battery down was my wireless network leaving it on at night. and I would shut off my wireless router on my pc/ Battery would be real low in the morning after a good charge the night before. Turning the wireless icon to off( the icon in the slide down)---Bingo,Full charge in the morning.Insted of please charge, Also I keep it off when driving around seems like it constantly detects wireless networks and tries to connect, that really pulls my charge down. Just need to get used to shutting the wireless icon off when not needed. Worked for me.

Yeah, that would do it! Glad to hear you figured out the problem! Are you going to stick with one of the battery saver apps? (If so, which one did you prefer?)

The Android booster seems like it gives me more control over the phone. I like how i could kill apps running in backround
It also shows a nice little battery type guage

Same here....did the update and now I'm getting about half the time I was getting. I posted on another thread the irritating "wake up" notification I get when it's fully charged.
