Question Newbie here... is there a way to put a favorite website on home page (as "shortcut")?

Is there a way to make a shortcut on the home screen for a favorite website? (Kinda like you can do as a shortcut on your PC desktop?)

If this is a stupid question, please forgive... this is my first smartphone and I am tech-challenged!!!

    THANK YOU!
    Lynn

Just long press on any blank space on the desktop, go to shortuct and find your bookmarks (but of course, you have to bookmark it in the browser first). Don't worry. I ask stupid questions all the time. Just be confident that it's stupid up front and don't worry about it! lol - just kidding, not a stupid question at all.

Awesome... you realize you just opened yourself up to the world of widgets, right? Same method... long press and pick a widget. Then that opens the door to cool widget apps. Ha... I'll shut up and let you figure it out for now!! Oh the joys of new smartphone-land... :nerd:

Thanks Buddy! Oh noooo, widgets???! It's a brave new world for me!!! LOL!

Seriously, here's another question... I know technically it should be a new post, but hopefully someone will see it and answer it here (and I'll be able to spare the forum another new "HELP!" thread!!!)

I got the Froyo update with Google, and would like to have Google ALWAYS open when I hit "BROWSER" on the home page. And I have done that, but it doesn't seem to STAY! Is that normal? Or is there a way to KEEP Google as the Browser homepage, even after surfing around, shutting down, etc.? Thanks (again!!!)

Open the browser, hit the menu button and then go to more, then settings. Should be a "set home page" option and you can either type Google or use current, if it's open. That should do it...
