FM player on the Fascinate?

While researching the Fascinate months ago I could've sworn I read somewhere that our phone comes with an FM player/transmitter? I can't find it anywhere so I'm thinking I may have read incorrectly or it's actually a downloadable app? Anyone know for sure?
It's not that big a deal since I have FM stereo access on my mp3 player, I just thought it'd be a nice feature to use on occassion.

This has been rumored on almost every android released. There is a FM radio built into this phone, as there is in almost every phone, but it is not capable of broadcasting FM stations at this time. I believe its a software issue not a hardware limitation. There was an article floating around about the FCC making it mandatory in future phone to be able to broadcast FM radio stations, wish I could find the link. But yea I believe it is possible, just need a software hack/app for it.

OK..so I found the link I was looking for, its not the FCC pushing this, its actually NAB and RIAA pushing this on Congress. And it actually looks like the DInc and EVO already have this capability, so like I thought it is a software limitation. Anyway here is the link....

I don't know if they left out the software last minute, but every Fascinate spec sheet I've looked at (and I've looked at about a half a dozen) show FM transmitter with RDS support. Guess we'll have to check the app store for an app.
