Why is it that when I scroll down through my emails it automatically jumps back to the top within a millisecond?? I know there's that tab on the side but I don't want to have to keep my finger on it (so it doesn't jump back to the top) plus it scrolls way too fast. I just want to scroll at my own speed and not have it jump back to the top. Thanks for any help that can be provided!!
Are you running stock or have you rooted and flashed a rom?
Probably stock -- but I know I'm not rooted. I'm using 5 different email accounts and its jumps back to the top on all of them. Thanks
Out of curiosity...since this started happening, have you done a battery pull (pulled your battery)? Other than that (helps clear things out) something must be in the general settings. I would look under display for a bounce back like settting.
Battery pull hasn't helped. I'm not really finding anything under the general settings or email account settings that relates. Does anyone have the white tab on the right side of their list of emails meant for scrolling??
I have not been on stock in so long...I am not sure what is there and is not. Are all your email accounts through the same ap? Try another ap like k9 email...if it still happens then something is up with your phone.
I had that exact problem with my Comcast account. It drove me nuts, too!!! Actually, I had lots of problems with my stinkin' Comcast account. I finally just forwarded it to my Gmail account and I am having no problems and again sleeping at night! ;o) In my humble, newbie, unrooted opinion, Gmail works WAY best with Android phones... or, at least MY Android phone.
