In need of some serious help getting my fascinate back up and running....

Once that's done follow these direction, all of them.

Instructions:
1. Open Odin on your PC. Put your phone into download mode. (Refer to this guide for instructions on how to use Odin.)

2. Click the PDA button in Odin (NOT the PHONE button) and navigate to the "CI500_VZW_EH03_GB_CM.tar.md5" file you downloaded earlier.

3. Click the PIT button in Odin and navigate to the "atlas_v2.2.pit" file you downloaded earlier. Make sure that the "Re-Partition" box in Odin is checked.

4. Click START. When this process has finished, you'll be notified in Odin (succeeded 1 / failed 0) and your phone's screen will go blank.

5. Unplug your phone and re-insert the battery. Power the phone on and let it boot completely.

yeah i can get it into download mode no problem.... take battery out hold volume down button and plug in... works like a charm everytime....

what happens if when it boots it goes to the recovery 2e screen again?

You quit trying to boot the phone while holding the volume buttons and power button.. :P I joke. It's shouldnt. But if it does we will assess that issue then.

i only boot up with the powerbutton only... i put the phone into recovery with three button salute....

i honestly dunno what happened to the phone...was fine when i went to sleep.... i was running 2.2.2.... verizon apparently tried to ota push gingerbread to my phone and it put it into a cwm recovery loop.... is what ive gathered so far...

That happens if your phone is rooted and takes a ota. Its totally normal.
