    Weatherbug widget stopped working

    Hello,

I have the Weatherbug widget that came loaded on the phone on home page. It used to work fine but now I am getting a 'Network connection error' message when I try and update it. It doesn't seem to matter if the phone is on 3g or on wifi in my house. I've tried taking the battery out, searching for a new city, which is does (but won't update due to connection error).
    Andy Ideas?

    Thanks

I had that same problem, for days on end (Network connection Error) So I finally trashed the factory weather /clock and loaded the much nicer "beautiful home widgets" (small version) and no problems since!

I've run across the same issue on a few occasions but it was usually because I was at work in our large concrete/steel bldg where it often fluctuates between zero -1 bars. If I move around and it rises to two bars it will finally refresh for me. That doesn't seem to be your problem though so I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else can offer up a solution for you.
Beautiful Widgets is a great alternative as Sftamx suggested.

so mine stopped working on Jan 1st as well. I spoke with Verizon and then Samsung customer support, and no one can figure out the "Network Connection Error" problem with this widget. If anyone has better luck than me please let me know. Verizon and Samsung had me try removing the battery, powering down the phone, removing the widget from the screen and then adding it back, as well as changing cities. Still no answer from them as of today.
