sounds like same issue as me. I flashed this morning and didnt have any problems attaching to pc. i used adb and also moved files to sdcard but now it wont find the phone

I've seen some posts that say you needed nexus 1 drivers for ADB. Maybe search for that for more info.

Yes, I did that, which let me sync and get my contacts, calender, etc. But gmail, maps, etc. are not in the app drawer. Talk was, but that's about it. Talk works btw.

Did you put a check by those apps when you set everything up initially? If so, you may want to reboot into recovery and reflash the GApps.

I didn't check any of that, and I did try to flash gapps again in recovery with no luck. Bummer. Any other ideas?

Not sure what's going on here but I think you can clear data from Market in Manage applications and get that prompt for app downloads again.

I actually cancelled that when it came up, so I didn't do that at all. I booted after flashign the ROM, with no gapps. No syncing to gmail or anything like that was possible (duh). Booted to recovery, flashed gapps, rebooted. Cancelled out before setup so I could go turn off the backup to google and auto recover (I hate it when it just starts throwing apps on my fresh ROMs). Went back and loaded and synced my gmail acct as usual and all was well. Contacts, calender, synced up no problem. Talk was the only thing in the app drawer though. It works fine.

When I couldn't find gmail, went to grab it from market and it popped up that "one time app picker" thing. Cancelled that, selected gmail from market and DL. Went back to market to grab maps, and this time went ahead and checked the boxes when it prompted for the rest of the apps I wanted. They DL'd, installed, and FC'd. Rebooted, still FC's. Cleared data, still FC'd. Uninstalled all those, rebooted to recovery and flashed Gapps again, no dice. Still only talk in the app drawer. Gah!

Ok, wiped data, cache, and dalvik, reflashed the ROM, then in the same session flashed GApps. Same thing. Any ideas? I was having some trouble getting the GApps file to dl from the site it's hosted on this am - anybody got it hosted somewhere else? Maybe I'll re-DL the zip and try it.

edit: NM. I checked the file hashes - it seems ok. I don't know what to do No matter what I do, when I go to flash GApps, it fills just a little tiny bit of the status bar, then says install complete in only a couple seconds, and I've got none of the apps except talk. This really sucks, becasue the ROM is flying, and everything seems to be working, but I can't be without gmail, maps, voice, etc.

OK, now this is weird. I wiped, flashed ROM, flashed GApps again. Still no apps. Google services is still working fine, and talk works.

Just for the heck of it, went to market again and DL'd gmail. Working perfectly. I don't get it. lol

This rom was actually the first one I ever had to flash a google ap zip...worked fine for me. I no know man.
