About LinkBacksyes thats what i meant i open rom manager i click download rom and i am told i have to have clockworkmod recovery installed before continuing can i install it or will it ruin the custom recovery

I would not do that. CM7 has a different recovery and ROM manager will not be compatible anyway. Least that is my understanding.

Rom manager does not work with the fascinate. You can reference thw how to install CM7 in the rs guides section of this forum.Originally Posted by aardvark502

ok thats what I figured does this mean that when cm7 nightly builds come out they will not be from rom manager

Probably safer to manually flash nightly builds anyway.

That is the million dollar question lol. No oone knows what will happen when the nightlies start dropping.
By this I mean a few people are speculating we will be able to flash CM7 nightlies through RM. I have grown so used to flashing without it I will not be. I prefer hitting my volume down button 40 or so times each time I flash
